The Enabling Civil Society's Contribution for Sustainable Development Project is a collaboration between WWF-Indonesia, Auriga, and partners aimed at strengthening the quality and capacity of civil society to contribute to a prosperous, just, and responsible development pathway in the transition to sustainable energy and land use
Our Approach
- Supporting civil society's technical and advocacy role in strengthening the implementation of just energy transition and sustainable land use.
- Promoting multi-stakeholder process through inclusive policy dialogue on just green transition roadmap.
- Pioneering initiatives that can contribute to the just green transition.
Project Location
Indonesia - five provinces: Riau, Jambi, Central Kalimantan, Southeast Sulawesi, and Central Sulawesi

Pilot Project
Pilot just energy transition practices by CSOs in Jambi and Central Kalimantan.
Multi-stakeholder Processes Activation & Roadmaps Development
Develop regional emission reduction roadmap resulted from multi-stakeholder process.
CSOs Report and Brief Development
Support CSOs in developing inputs for government to implement just energy transition at provincial and national level.
Jangka Benah Implementation
Initiate multi-stakeholder processes to implement Jangka Benah in Central Kalimantan and Jambi as good land use management practice.
Effective Monitoring System
Capacity building for CSOs in effective monitoring of land use management and just energy transition by using reliable database generated by CSOs.
