WWF-Indonesia strengthens sustainable commodity governance through policy and strategic engagement that promotes Deforestation and Conversion-Free (DCF) production and trade. This includes policy advocacy, strengthening supply-chain transparency and traceability, and facilitating coordination among governments, businesses, and other stakeholders at landscape, national, and global levels to align public policy with private sector sustainability commitments.

These efforts have resulted in concrete progress, including collaboration with WWF China and GPO to engage palm oil companies such as Apical and AAK in verified DCF palm oil shipments. WWF-Indonesia supported strategic Indonesia–China partnerships, including the signing of an MoU between KADIN Indonesia and CFNA in December 2025, and collaboration between CPOPC and China’s FECO, reinforcing commitments to sustainable and transparent palm oil value chains.
