Champion of WWF-Indonesia's 'Buy Good' campaign, Nugie attended the Forum for Young Indonesians (FYI) event last weekend to share his experiences with young Indonesians about eco-friendly lifestyles and how youth can make Indonesia's nature and food sustainable. The Forum for Young Indonesians is the start of the EAT Asia Pacific Food Forum conference series of activities that will take place on October 30 & 31, 2017. The Forum for Young Indonesians is targeted to bring the issue of food sustainability and security among young people and challenge the involvement of young people as innovators and drivers of Indonesian food sustainability that take into account economic, social and environmental aspects.

In an interview format escorted by Kamal Rasyid, host of FYI, Nugie shared his experience of being involved in the 'Buy Good' campaign including the song 'Start from Yourself' which he created for the 'Buy Good' campaign. In his sharing, Nugie encouraged FYI participants to help protect the environment through simple steps in everyday life. One of them is about labeled products whose production methods are guaranteed not to cause environmental damage. Another message conveyed by Nugie was to change behavior and consumption styles by developing frugal habits. In closing, Nugie reminded the important role of youth as 'kids today' who are more open to access to information and technology to start changing old habits into environmentally friendly habits from themselves.
