After last year's successful collaboration with the world youth organization, AIESEC, Panda Mobile again collaborated with AIESEC President University's exchange program students to build students' awareness about environmental sustainability. The activity themed "Environmental Awareness" was carried out during a visit to SMAN 1 Cikarang Pusat last Friday (20/01). Together with students from Slovakia, Czech, China, and Belgium, the Panda Mobile team provided various materials with the aim of making the public more aware of the environment around them.
The students from SMAN 1 Cikarang who participated in the environmental-themed activity were members of the student council and representatives from each class. The AIESEC President University team consisting of five people started the activity by introducing themselves. Pratama Aditya from Panda Mobile WWF-Indonesia then gave an explanation of WWF-Indonesia's vision and mission. Pratama also gave a glimpse of information about AIESEC.

The material on the environment opened with a discussion about the issue of global warming, especially in the Jakarta area. Yohana, Jim, and Thomas from AIESEC gave presentations that they had prepared. They presented the state of the environment in their respective countries. Jim showed the state of river pollution in his country caused by garbage. Yohana also shared the state of waste from factories and their pollution. Meanwhile, Thomas showed the environmentally unfriendly lifestyle that still occurs in his country, such as wasting electricity and excessive use of motorized vehicles.
Afterwards, the students were invited to play the "Spaceship" game and present the results in front of the class. In the game, they were trained to make decisions about saving sustainable natural resources in the face of a deteriorating earth. The results of the discussion were then presented in groups.
The activity with AIESEC and WWF-Indonesia's Panda Mobile was continued by making trash bins using used bottles collected from their school environment. It is hoped that through this activity the participants can better understand the dangers and impacts of plastic waste. In addition, they are also expected to be able to make useful objects from used materials around their school.
Several environment-themed movies were also presented to the students. They watched the movies guided by Monika and Leon from AIESEC. The two movie titles that were watched together on that day were "Man" and "Trash". The movie "Trash" tells the story of the Ciliwung River which contributes waste to the ocean through the Pacific Ocean and has a direct impact on life around the world. The students of SMAN 1 Cikarang Pusat watched the movie seriously. They were concerned about the impact of waste on their daily lives because even a small amount of litter will have a negative impact on the environment.
