ABOUT MARINE ETP SPECIES

Sharks, rays, turtles, whales, dolphins and dugongs are all endangered and protected marine species in Indonesia. Most are fully protected, but their populations continue to decline. WWF works with stakeholders to support the Government of Indonesia in implementing the National Action Plan (NAP), as well as other efforts to reduce bycatch, to public awareness to reduce consumption of protected marine species.
