CALL FOR PROPOSAL: Strengthening Civil Society Engagement in Advancing Just Energy Transition and Climate Action in Indonesia
The “Enabling Civil Society's contribution to Prosperous, Fair and Sustainable Development in Energy Transition and Sustainable Land Use” Project is aimed to mainstream and strengthen civil society organizations at the national and sub-national levels so that they can play a significant role in the processes of formulating energy transition and sustainable land use policies along with its implementation in the field level.
"Strengthening Civil Society Engagement in Advancing Just Energy Transition and Climate Action in Indonesia" project will support civil society organizations through conducting several activities, such as:
· Capacity Building on Proposal Development and Resource Mobilization for CSOs
· Knowledge Sharing and Network Building on Energy Transition for CSOs
· National Multistakeholder Dialogue on Energy Transition

We are extending the submission deadline for an exciting opportunity to strengthen civil society engagement in Indonesia’s Just Energy Transition to June 24th, 2026.
We are looking for one (1) qualified Civil Society Organization to partner with us.
Who will you be supporting?
In this role, your organization will design and lead a crucial capacity-building program, facilitate knowledge-sharing networks, and host a national multistakeholder dialogue. Your primary focus will be supporting a cohort of 8 local CSOs working hard on the ground across our key project regions:
- Jambi (3 CSOs)
- Central Kalimantan (2 CSOs)
- Pekanbaru (1 CSO)
- Central Sulawesi (1 CSO)
- Southeast Sulawesi (1 CSO)
All original submission procedures, eligibility criteria, and proposal structures remain the same. If your organization has a strong track record in facilitating multistakeholder dialogues and a passion for a just energy transition, we want to hear from you!
