CORAL REEF HEALTH MONITORING PROTOCOL
The condition of coastal and marine ecosystems is part of the biophysical aspects of management that need to be identified, assessed for their potential and monitored regularly as part of the management process. Coastal and marine ecosystems include mangroves, seagrass beds and coral reefs. These three ecosystems have important functions that are interrelated from both ecological and economic aspects. Ecologically, these three ecosystems are feeding grounds.
